I finally made it to the Dole Plantation. We were only there long enough to eat the pineapple sorbet and browse the gift shop though, so hopefully someday we will go again so I can ride the Pineapple Express and tour the maze.
Today was actually pretty boring. We did the pineapple thing, and then went to Jameson's for lunch (note to self: the cheeseburger is not that great. Stick with the tuna melt). After that we just went home so Brian could continue his Call of Duty 4 obsession, and I could...well...I had nothing to do.
Since I've been in housewife mode, everything is always done. It's a nice feeling to not have anything to worry about, but it would feel better if I had more to do. I think I might make beach trips a daily thing.
In other news, I'm down to a whopping 122lbs. Thank God. I've been holding off on fast food since coming back from CA (or at least as far as I can remember). Today I almost gave in and had Taco Bell while Brian was at the gym. But I decided to vacuum instead, and it held off my craving until he came home. I didn't feel like cooking tonight, so I'm eating breakfast for dinner. It feels a lot better than 2 Baja Beef Chalupas (although those taste better than Honey Nut Cheerios and a blueberry bagel).
I started jogging "around the block" (in quotes because my version of around the block differs from Brian's), and I feel really good about myself. I've decided there will always be areas that I can improve on, but life would be so much less interesting if I was perfect.
